We collect minimal information to provide our service. When you use The Looksheet, your photos and personal details are processed locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos to any server.
Any information provided through our contact form (name, email, message) is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell, share, or trade your personal information with third parties.
We use your browser's local storage and session storage to save your comp card progress so you can return to it later. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
To understand which templates are used most, we record a single anonymous event when you successfully download a comp card (PDF, PNG, or JPEG). Each event stores only the template name (for example, Agency Standard or Noir Editorial), the file format, and a timestamp. We do not attach your name, email, photos, IP address, or any account identifier to these events.
This data is stored in our database provider, Supabase, as aggregate product statistics. It is not used to build a marketing profile and does not depend on the optional analytics cookies below. You cannot be identified from this information.
We use essential cookies so the site works (for example, saving your comp card progress in this browser). Optional analytics cookies are only used with your consent.
We use trusted providers to run the service, including Supabase (anonymous export statistics) and EmailJS (contact form delivery). Each provider has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them for more information on how they handle data.
Resource guides may link to external retailers (including Amazon). Those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not receive your payment details through affiliate links.
Since your comp card data is processed entirely in your browser, your photos and personal details are never exposed to our servers. We take reasonable measures to protect any information submitted through our contact form.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we process data locally, most of your information is already under your full control. For any data submitted via our contact form, you may request deletion at any time.
Our service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy & Cookies policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
If you have questions about this policy, please visit our Contact page.
